Multi company plugin for WHMCS?

What about creating a plugin for WHMCS to allow use a for multi company? I know alot of people have asked for this over in the WHMCS forums. The biggest issue right now is having separate company information on the different emails going out for each company. Some have kinda made it work by installing on a neutral domain from the two company sites and then directing their clients to that site for billing and support.

You think something like this would be possible?

Multicompany feature can be complicated to implement mainly because it will be hard to import/export data for existing WHMCS installs that will be the most interested in this integration. Also, what can be problematic are the modules/cusomtizations - to have clientarea working properly on all WHMCS systems, we'd need the same version of system, some modules, having the same setup of client fields and so on...

Its definitely worth considering, but requires very deep research and strict plan.
Our Releases Roadmap list for next 2-3 months is full at the moment, but I have added it on "ideas list"

Wouldn't this be easily achieved by just expanding on your reseller module?

Option to select single or separate DB will be great.
