What's the longest you've gone without sleep?

From what I recall the most I have ever gone without sleep would probably be around 40 hours.

I generally don't sleep to begin with but Im pretty sure thats the most I've been up.

Nice result As I remember my record was also 40 hours. It was many years ago on holiday camp. It was a bet! And unfortunatelly I got the 2nd place.

Well the first 24 hrs was my friends and I playing the Game of Life and then Trouble. As we broke day we made a bet who could stay up the longest, hence how I stayed up about 40 hrs.

Time to wake this post. I have gone about 98 hours. Was in Iraq with the US army on a combat mission. I must say, it sucked

Back when I used to game we would go to LAN parties and would stay up the majority of the weekend. But of course we were hyped up on highly caffeinated drinks.

Recently a Polish guy broke Guinness record for the longest marathon playing games on a computer! He played (and didn't sleep) for over 136 hours! Is there somebody brave enough to challenge him?
