New in EasyDCIM: Windows Server 2025 support & updated core!

Postby Joanna » 13th May 2025, 8:51 pm

Having reached the advanced stage of development that EasyDCIM is at, meaningful progress rarely lies in reinventing what has worked well over the years. It lies in listening carefully and focusing on the areas where small improvements could make a big difference. EasyDCIM 1.20.0 is built around real needs, shaped by the everyday experience of people working with infrastructures that grow in complexity.

  • One of the features that has been high on the EasyDCIM community's radar for a while was support for the automatic installation of Windows Server 2025. It’s now fully available, ready to help you deploy faster and with zero manual setup.
  • Hardware management also gets a noticeable boost. The release expands IPMI integration to include drivers dedicated to Lenovo XClarity and H3C UniServer.
  • Tags management has been extended too. VLANs and subnets can now be tagged just like devices or ports, which means your environment can stay just as organized when it grows as it was when it started.
  • And while it’s easy to overlook what happens behind the scenes, the updated core of EasyDCIM runs faster, more securely, and is easier to maintain - built on PHP 8.3 and paired with framework running the latest stable version.
EasyDCIM 1.20.0 is everything a good update should be: thoughtful, reliable, and designed to disappear into your everyday routine.
