Discover the reusable provisioning logic in EasyDCIM v1.24.0

Postby Joanna » 23rd February 2026, 1:51 pm

Over the past year, EasyDCIM has been patiently reshaping some of its most fundamental workflows. First came the rebuilt Client Area, and now, with version 1.24.0, attention turns to something less visible but equally central: OS provisioning.

The introduction of Provisioning Profiles marks an important change in how installation logic is treated inside the platform. Instead of being embedded directly in templates, provisioning steps can now exist as reusable components: attached where needed, combined with intention, and updated independently.

This approach transforms the mechanics of everyday work. Installation templates no longer need to carry the full weight of disk layouts, installer logic, first-boot actions, or post-install tasks. Those elements can be structured separately and reused across environments, whether through official profiles maintained by EasyDCIM or custom ones aligned with internal standards.

At the same time, version 1.24.0 expands capabilities in other areas:
  • support for ServerTech STV-4511C devices,
  • the ability to create custom VMware ESXi templates from vendor-specific or custom ISO images,
  • and automated installation support for Fedora Server 43.
With EasyDCIM 2.0 expected later this year, these changes already hint at a system that is becoming more modular, more deliberate, and easier to work with as your data center grows.

See how Provisioning Profiles redefine OS installation in EasyDCIM v1.24.0!
