The introduction of Provisioning Profiles marks an important change in how installation logic is treated inside the platform. Instead of being embedded directly in templates, provisioning steps can now exist as reusable components: attached where needed, combined with intention, and updated independently.
This approach transforms the mechanics of everyday work. Installation templates no longer need to carry the full weight of disk layouts, installer logic, first-boot actions, or post-install tasks. Those elements can be structured separately and reused across environments, whether through official profiles maintained by EasyDCIM or custom ones aligned with internal standards.
At the same time, version 1.24.0 expands capabilities in other areas:
- support for ServerTech STV-4511C devices,
- the ability to create custom VMware ESXi templates from vendor-specific or custom ISO images,
- and automated installation support for Fedora Server 43.
