What's behind our official Proxmox Solution Provider status?

Proxmox gives hosting providers a strong infrastructure foundation. What happens above that layer is where requirements start to differ considerably from one business to another.

Service provisioning, customer management, backups, internal automation, billing, monitoring, security - each provider has its own combination of systems and processes that need to work with the Proxmox environment rather than nothing but next to it. A large part of our work is focused precisely on that layer.

It includes ready-made software such as our legendary Proxmox VE integration for WHMCS, but also custom solutions built around Proxmox VE, Backup Server, Datacenter Manager, and Mail Gateway.

Goals can take many forms:

• Automating a specific process to reduce the amount of manual work involved.
• Connecting systems that weren't designed to work together by default.
• Developing an entirely new application that adapts to the way a web hosting provider works day to day, rather than forcing predefined workflows.

That scope has made Proxmox one of the most substantial areas of our software development work and ultimately contributed to ModulesGarden becoming an official Proxmox Solution Provider.
